Choose a spot that gets full sun to partial shade. Before planting the seeds, loosen the soil and pull out the weeds. Cineraria plants do not do well in temperatures below 0°C and above 20°C. For the smaller Cineraria plants that grow about 12 inches wide and tall, make sure that you space the plants at least 12 inches apart from each other.For the taller Cineraria plants that grow up to 3 feet wide and tall, space the plants at least 18 inches apart from each other. Use a shade cloth to protect the plants from the frost on cold nights. During the day, remove the shade cloth to let the plants soak up the sunlight.
